Working With Dreams: Connecting to the God Within

Dreams as a path to meaning, guidance, and self-trust

I was born 100 years after Carl Jung, but I wrestle with the same questions he did. Questions like: What the hell supports me when I can’t find support anywhere? What do I turn to when all the societal and religious “shoulds” haven’t worked for me?

Dreams offer a doorway to that support.

Dreams have a way of bringing what lives beneath our awareness into consciousness. They introduce us to parts of ourselves that want to be known and lived. They assist us on our path, offering guidance through images, emotions, and felt experience.

This class is an invitation to engage with your dreaming self – the Dream Maker.

We will explore questions like:

• What are dreams?
• Where do dreams come from?
• Should we take our dreams literally?
• How do we find meaning and support in our dreams?

Dreams can’t be understood through the rational mind alone. That approach keeps us at a purely psychological level. This class offers another way of listening — one that honors intuition, embodiment, and inner knowing. Only the dreamer knows when an interpretation is right. You’ll recognize it by the aha.

How we’ll work

This class is not about learning a universal system of dream symbols, though we won’t ignore the collective or archetypal layers of dreaming. Instead, we’ll slow down and explore how meaning arises uniquely for each person.

Dream work here is relational. We’ll pay attention to what a dream stirs, where it lands in the body, and what is emerging into awareness. Over time, this approach can deepen trust — not only in your dreams, but in yourself.

For many people, working with dreams becomes a deeply spiritual practice.

This class is for you if:

• You’re curious about your dreams but unsure how to work with them
• You sense your dreams carrying meaning or guidance
• You want to deepen your relationship with your Self
• You are drawn to spiritual exploration from the inside out

You don’t need special knowledge or perfect dream recall. Curiosity is more than enough.

Your dreams are already speaking. This class is an opportunity to listen more closely  and to engage with your own wonderful dreaming.

Like all of my classes, this offering weaves together storytelling, education, and experiential learning.
